About Doug...
Where did this love for racing all begin?
Ever since Doug was about 3 years old he was tagging along to the local race tracks here in PA with his Dad. As a young child Doug sat in the stands week after week and cheered on his favorite drivers. (Ronnie Tobias, Toby Tobias Jr, Johnny Leindecker) Over the years Doug gained a huge collection of program books, pictures, pins, magnets, and quickly memorized all the drivers names and car numbers. He was a young boy with a passion and dream to one day wheel a car of his own.
Today Doug lives out that dream, racing his 2015 MMF 600 Microsprint!

How did Doug get to this point in his racing career?
Take a look below....
1993-1997- At 11 years old the excited racing fan now became a driver... wheeling his car in the Jr Microstock division at Snydersville Speedway in Snydersville, PA. This is where Doug spent the next few years growing and learning as a driver.

1998-2000- Doug spent his time racing a 270 Stallard Chassis Microsprint at Greenwood Valley Action Track in Millville, PA. His 270 experience was not one of his best, troubled with a lot of mechanical issues the team was becoming very frustrated. The Micro was sold and Doug & his Dad took some time to figure out what would be next....
2003-2004- What would be next.... 600 Microsprints it was.... Doug traveled to many different tracks in Eastern PA (Shippensburg Speedway, Kutztown Speedway, Lindas Speedway, Greenwood Valley Action Track, Lanco Speedway) making him a very versatile driver. Enjoying the awesome power to weight ratio Doug was loving the 600 Micro.
2005-2006 - Moving on to something a bit bigger Doug raced in the Late Model Division at Grandview Speedway in Betchelsville, PA. Unfortunately Doug's second season came to a halt when the motor in Late Model blew up. With a tight pocket book Doug was forced to let the car sit.
2006-2007- Doug
picked up a ride in the Dale Thomas owned 4T 600 Micro and was also able drive his 305
Sprint Car for a few races.
2008-2013- Back to the 600 Micro world. The second time around in the 600 micro division was a pretty successful one. With many heat race wins and several feature wins, Doug almost always was found finishing in the top 10. His last year in 600 micros he fell short of bringing home the Track Championship at Kutztown Speedway, finishing the year off 2nd in points.
